Diamond district high-rise could be boon for New York's jewel biz
It may seem like an unusual time to spend money on the luxury jewelry industry but that's what city officials were touting as they unveiled plans for a new 34-story office building. Construction on the International Gem Tower is scheduled to begin in summer 2009. The high-rise will house office space, vaults and retail for diamond dealers...link

CDL created a competition to redesign the HQ and update the building to high international sustainability standards. UN studio: Grand Hyatt Hotel Frankfurt
UN studio has been selected to design the Grand Hyatt hotel in Frankfurt. The new tower will house a 5-star-plus hotel with 405 rooms, a ballroom, spa, various restaurants, and a public sky lounge on the top floor, and the possibility of an adjacent congress center. The hotel tower consists of 22 floors at a height of approximately 110 meters...link
