Talk of Pre-Fab Skyscraper Attracts International Media Attention
Reports that Chinese pre-fab specialist Broad Group is planning to construct the world’s tallest building in nine months has sparked international media coverage, including a detailed report in the Wall Street Journal. The tower, named Sky City, would reach 838 meters, passing the Burj Khalifa (828 meters), Broad Group says.
Controversy over Plans for Africa's Tallest Building
Controversy continues regarding South African project Symbio-City, a three-tower development that, if completed, will include the continent's tallest building. Following the announcement of this project last month, locals have voiced a series of objections concerning its necessity and consequences.
Groundbreaking Milan Tower Project Takes Step Forward
Foundation work has finished on the first tower in the CityLife development in Milan, an initiative to create a business district on the site of the historical Milan Fair. The USD2.6 billion development includes towers designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and Studio Daniel Libeskind, which created the master plan for the project.
Russian Radio Tower in Danger

Trump Penthouse Listed at USD32 Million
The penthouse on the 89th floor of Trump International Hotel and Tower in Chicago has hit the market with an asking price of USD32 million. The penthouse is reportedly the most expensive real estate listing in the city, according to media reports.

Council Names Three New Fellows
Council veterans Nick Billotti, Georges Binder, and James A. Robinson have been named CTBUH Fellows, recognizing their contributions to the CTBUH, as well as their work in the industry.
CTBUH Journal Issue II Available for Purchase
The new issue of the CTBUH Journal is now available, featuring papers on building security, developing skylines, the UNESCO debate and a study of observation /telecommunications towers.
Awards Honor First Time Winners

First Wave of City Representatives Appointed
